Joseph Marmol Yap sent in his list of books, two of which have been adapted into
movies. His 3x3 made me consider setting up a “BookFlix” display in the library. Powerful stories and well crafted storytelling are reasons that inspire film makers and movie producers to render a book into another media format. Johann Frederick Cabbab, librarian by day and comic book and graphic novel writer by night sent in three titles of Pinoy made comic books that were all bought from the annual Komikon and Komiket. I still have to attend both events soon! Ann Grace Bansig, school librarian and civic volunteer, recommended titles of young adult novels.
