It's Namkook Month! ARMYs celebrate the birthdays of Kim Namjoon and Jeon Jungkook this September. As a member of the fanbase Titas of BTS, here's a campaign and event I am leading for Namkook Month.
During the pandemic, we saw Bangtan retreat into art and commune with nature. They played games in In the Soop, cooked dishes, went trekking, drove up and down the country side, exercised, went fishing, meditated, pursued hobbies old and new and sang their hearts out in noraebang sessions. How many of you were inspired to do any of the above in your given space, time and circumstance?
As a Namjoon stan, I found Joon’s growing interest in the visual arts deeply moving. But JK was, for me, a pleasant surprise as he shared his innate gift for drafting, sketching and painting ala Bob Ross. This Namkook in ITS Season 1 is a “chillax” inducing moment. And JK painting in this BE-log is proof that this maknae is indeed golden.

They share the same birthday month but each is uniquely blessed with talents and skills of their own. For us ARMYs who know their story and their context, this shot is very meaningful.
