As an elementary school librarian, can I also suggest that the following books-to-movies were also pretty good:<br /><br />- The Fantastic Mr. Fox by Roald Dahl (directed by Wes Anderson... one of my favs!)<br /><br />- Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (SIX graghic novels rolled into one amazing movie by the guys who wrote/directed Shawn of the Dead and Hot Fuzz)<br /><br />- The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick (if you're going to adapt the world's longest picture book for the silver screen, Scorsese is definitely the way to go!)<br /><br />Looking forward to reading part 2!Matthew C.
